Wondering if anyone would be interested in FR500 rims in various sizes that are already offer by Mustang Tuning, but in Black Chrome. I have seem Bullit, Saleen, and even 03 Cobra rims in Black Chrome and they look good. Just a recommendation to Mustang Tuning. I think I'd buy a set, have to see them first, but I think I would.

 

Its a possibility of getting them made, although with the amount of time its taking to get shipments in it might not be feasable.

 

What's the prob in shipping, not that I have a cure, just wondering what's stopping a potentially good product from coming out. Or maybe some computer whiz could put a dark glaz over a picture of the Chrome ones to at least gauge the interest in them. This is a good place to find out who's interested.

 

Like i said, I know the demand would be there, its the supply issue is where we hit a wall.

The molds are all made, its just the time it would take for the wheels to be manufactured and then coated, then shipped over here...etc...

Just for a set of 18x10 FR500's we've had people waiting since Oct, if that gives you a sense of the backorder problem.

 

Wow, October? That sux!!! So, basically I should scrap the idea of getting the Black Chrome and order my 18x10's in Black now so that when I return to the states in 10 months they'll be there? That's crazy. I'd be pissed if I were running the place, but I'm not. Not trying to tell anyone how to either, I wouldn't know the first thing. It's gotta hurt business though. Well, I guess I'll keep checking to see if anyone's making them in the meanwhile.

 

Well there is only one manufacturing plant that makes the 18x10 FR500's, hence why they are on a national backorder.

I dont remember if the molds were moved from the original factory though. If they were then we should be able to get them sooner. I'll check with my manufacturer.

 

Well, I would definately be interested. I don't know how many more people would be, but I think they'd sell. Either way I'd like to know. Thanks.
