Plenum / Throttlebody question
Just curious...
on here they list the Accufab Plenum for the 4.6l V8 as giving 9.2hp and 15.1ftlbs dyno'ed. roughly 200bucks
Then, it also shows the Accufab 4.6L 2v 70mm Throttle Body & Plenum Combo
as having the exact same gains... roughly 400 bucks....
So......... what does the $200 throttlebody do then?????

I was wondering about that. The plenum states it will achieve that by itself, the throttle body says it will give around 5hp or something.
who knows.
man. i hate mustangs. freakin expencive to get any power on em. My buddy had a 1500 hemi quadcab and extra power was freakin CHEAP. Well, that ended up aa lemon and he has a 2500 cummins diesel on the way, and that gets insane power cheap.
why the hell is it so expencive to get power on a stang?
400bucks for 9hp?.... christ....

This piece of **** was in the shop 15 times since he got it less than a year ago. they "fixed" it countless times. He finally got fed up with it.
Here is the funny part, he used to have a Dodge 1500 Sport that constantly broke down, so he traded it in for a Dodge 1500 Hemi Quadcab, and it constantly broke down.
ROFL
Now here is the best part. After fighting with dodge for the past 4 months, he finally got it legally declared a lemon. Now he plans to buy, get this, yes... wait for it... wait for it..... A DODGE 2500 TURBO DIESEL!!!!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This guy doesent learn his lesson.

whats even funnier is that he is buying a diesel dodge that uses a cummins which ford owns.........
and the plenum and throttle body may only add that much hp to a stock n/a motor but add a power adder and the number will increase, there is only so much air your stock motor can take in.
