ahh I hate that, I work at Best Buy so it's really disappointing when a manufacturer does that, I don't get my sweet discount in those cases

anyways.. I'd just like to say to anyone thinking about buying a Raptor shiftlight.. GO FOR IT! they look freaking great. I got the blue LED with black casing

this pic is taken when the car is just started, not all of the LED's are on. The pic does not do the brightness any justice at all. When I race I have people who can see the light all the way down the track.

nope.. that pillar comes off very easy.. and then i ran it down there, it came out by the pedals, ran it behind the cd player/ac vents (theres places to string it through or to tie it up to) and then to the passenger panel down by your foot where the pcm is. That panel can be tricky to get back on. you have to move some plugs out of the way but you tap into some wires down there and you're all set

I feel like the raptor light is a little more bulky than need be. They should make a small module box instead of packing it in one unit with the led display smaller so its a little more easy to hide/mount.

hmm nope, i like it on the pillar a lot.

so, I'm going to have to add in that ever since I installed this my car keeps throwing a code. P1233.. it means the fuel pump is disabled. Well obviously its not because I can still drive the car. We thought it was because we were stealing a ground for the light from the pump or something, so we moved the ground. All was well for a few days and then it threw the code again, so I dunno.

place it right in the center of your your cluster guage area. nice clean, and you can run it behind the dash with no holes
