Default XPipe Vs Catted XPipe

Ok, i need some opinions on the catted X Pipe and Offroad X Pipe for a 95 GT.
How hard is it to install the Off road pipe ?
Anything additional needed or simply bolt it up and done?
What kind of power loss would i see if i went with the catted pipe over the offroad?
How does the catted pipe sound? much different that the offroad pipe?

Thanks!!

with O/R x-pipe you're going to need either MIL Eliminators, o2 simulators, or to get the rear o2 sensors tuned off, because it will throw a code if it cannot detect the cats there. Install is fairly simple. You're probably only going to see 2-3 rwhp difference, if even that much. The O/R also says more raspy. You may feel some low end power loss because if you take cats out you're getting rid of some restriction, but you gain it all back up in the higher RPMs.

csledd and venom are both correct, without the cats you get a more raspy sound. I have a 97 GT that had an O/R X exhaust with Flowmasters. Too, raspy for me. I had the X cut out and installed Dynomax Super Converters. That deepened the tone and eliminated the raspy sound.
