Default Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z Tire (315/35-17) Out of Stock?

I placed an order last night and I got an email today saying they are out of stock? Site last night showed them in stock, and the site still shows them instock. It doesn't bother me too much that they are out of stock, but please update your site so we know when we order. I understand you guys are busy and all, and I have done business with you guys a few times. I just am waiting for these fr500s and tires so I can ship the bullitts I have now. And it makes me look bad to the guy I sold my bullitts to that I have to wait extra days now because I figured they would be instock.

Sorry! I didn't see this until right now. The inventory on the website is real time, so it should be correct. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience! I'll look into what the deal is when I get to work tomorrow.

Again, I'm sorry and I'll do my best to get this straightened out for you ASAP.

they may be cheaper, but keeping a kick *** company in business with awesome people like emilie is worth paying the extra buck to me. They have a nice setup i think. The online store, forum, and reps from the company within the forum handing out deals and monthly specials like crazy.

It looks like we are out of them in our warehouse, but we have them set up to ship directly from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, because you are having your rims and tires mounted and balanced, we have to wait for them to come in stock before we can ship them.

I'm really sorry for the inconvenience, and if you want to try to work something out, feel free to shoot me an email at emilied [at] americanmuscle.com. Just include either your order number or your full name.

well when you ask how "old"...that tends to be alot WORSE than how young, i was being safe about it. PLUS i see the car choice in her signature and usually the "young" crowd goes for the newer stangs...

Ah, gotcha

Actually, underneath the sig, there's a credit to the person that made it for me. The first contest I ran was a signature contest. That was the winners.

Hmmm...Maybe I should run another one...

I am "technically" a Customer Service Rep, but I do a lot of the public relations/customer relations aspect of everything. I also write articles for the website, and keep the blog up to date.

Yes, I own a Mustang but it's not anything I can work on with parts from my job. It's a '66. I have a daily driver -- a Pontiac -- that I prefer to beat into the ground.

well i would have to say this is a really good combo for the website and the forum. You are the main piece holding it all together with the advertising and chatting which isnt very common with most internet companies. So good on you! Oh and please tell me you left it original with the 289 and 3 speed...Growing up my mom had a red one, dad wrecked it, we rebuilt it then right before it was mine someone decided they wanted it more and STOLE it out of the front yard never to be seen again.

Woot! I'm showing this to my boss Maybe he'll give me a raise. LOL Just kidding...

And yes, I left it with the original engine and all that good stuff. It was my uncle's and he gave it to me for college graduation.

Thanks for the info. thats where I got my last set. no need to waste time with them anymore. Looks like I'll be getting my next set from AM then. I will say that AM beats the prices of most every other Mustang parts place...good stuff.

well it would have cool if you were less blunt about it. Like sending the guy a PM abut it, you kinda stepped on her toes/AM.

Lol, get that money! Print it out and tell him "show me the money". What color you have it now? Auto or Manual? You should post up some pictures!

well, as I understand it, this site has no real affiliation with AM...or is that how it was in the past and not now...I don't know. I was just trying to help a fellow mustang owner though.

The site has no affiliation, in that we no longer own the board. However, we are still sponsors.

LOL I get paid very well for what I do. I'm not gonna push my luck

And it's red, manual. And I should post pics. It's sitting in my uncle's garage right now, in MA, so next time I go home I'll try to take some.

I'm a bit of a purist. I don't see a need to mess with perfection So, no modifications will be done. I want to get a new paint job, but other than that, there's not too much that needs to be done to it. Not really.

And I would be disowned if I sold it...
