Sponserships?
I'm building my car strictly for car shows and some performance was wondering if you guys at MT do sponserships? I plan on doing around 3 probally 4 big shows in the area and always have people asking about my car on a daily basis and I always tell them about Mustangtuning.I've probally had around 4 people order from you just from talking to them at gas stations and other places just in the last 2 months. Thanks

hmmm
im not exactly sure but my old spanish teacher was big into car shows and sponsorships and he would write letters to the companies with pics of his car and detailed plans of what he was going to do, than if they liked the idea theyd give him products as long as he went to big car shows every so often

I went to 3 car shows last year and will at least do the same this year.I went to a classic car show yesterday and had people that were there for the older cars looking and asking about mine in the parking lot which was kinda cool

Lance: If your looking to get sponsored like burns said...you have to write a proposal to send to companies call them email them etc. Im contacting kicker again this week about getting sponsored and another racing company. I have one sponsor allready and have a few shows coming up. MT with just a suggestion to get the name out it might not hurt to sponsor a few cars with small things and ask that person to help you out if they do a good job reward them. It would help get the name out Specially here In arkansas. Ill take some Black FR500 18" rims jkjk Best of luck to you Lance if you want a good outline of a proposal it will take you a few weeks to complete it and have it done good. Also I know a guy that can help you with it... as soon as I can im sending him mine to see if there is anything he can help with.

Well, I guess I should say this. I dont make the sponsorship calls, Chris does, and its very VERY rare if we decide to sposor someone. The only person that we have sponsored is this person named Stanggurl. And thats because Chris liked what he saw in her, her custom Stang, and her show schedule.
I can tell you this, if you do want to get sponsored by us, do what Wikidstang said and write us a letter. Keep it fairly formal, and let us know what you want to do. There is an outside chance that maybe we would sponsor you, but judging from what normally goes on, dont expect too much.

Exactly.A partial sponsor usually gives you the parts at cost.A full sponsor provides it all for free.
The best way is to write letters tell the person you want to be sponsored by,what you can do for them.Anyone can get parts but compaines are looking for cars that will make their product stand out or see a lot of public viewing.
I have both partial and full sponsors.
