Doing a complete exhaust system replacement; I have a question what is best a X or H pipe system?

X Pipe is more raspy
and
H Pipe is more deep "Pure Muscle"

H has better sound, X gives the most gain.

The gain on the X is not worth the "rasp" you have to listen to each time you drive. It all comes down to what you like.

If you like it go with it, but in my opinion I wouldn't do it.
