87' 5.0 GT. fuel pump runs, EEC relay working, starts on spray! refuses to run other wise. Getting 40ld. pressure at the rails. Acts like the injectors are dead. runs out of spray, the fuel pump cycles and won't fire a lick afterwards. tried a different computer and same issue. Give a shot of spray and fires up like a STOCKCAR! Dying to drive this thing! Taking suggestions including longshots! what do you think?

 

I'd pull the harness off an injector to see if you get a signal when you try to crank it.
If it's been sitting awhile, the injectors could be stuck.

 

One possible cause could be that the signal isn't getting to the injectors. Try disconnecting the "salt & pepper shakers"(big black and white connectors behind the upper intake). Use a jewelers screw driver to spread the male pins slightly, this will insure a good connection. Plug em back in, and see if she starts.
