I have a 1984 5.0 and wanted to know is there anyway i could get the bumper from a 1990 5.0 to fit on mine?
i really hate the bumper i have now and just need a different looking one,any suggestions?

 

I don't know if u got 2 mod anything, but I got a friend that has a older fox that said he was going 2 change 4 the newer fox. He acted like it wouldn't b a big deal

 

You can bolt the new sheet metal onto an old 4 eye fox, but why would you want to loose the coolness of a 4 eye fox body.

 

Well i have always liked the newer fox bodies better,the bumper i have on it now makes it look like a duck,lol. anyways i am going to get it painted dark cherry red with maybe some stripes.ill post pics when it is all done.

 

My friends got a 4eye,, and its UGLY..

86, with 87-93 GT ground effects, and that POINTY front end.. hes changing it soon.

 

Let me know if he does it with ease or if its too much trouble.

 

I love the 4 light look but hate the eggcrate grill of the 83-84. Give some thought to an 85-86 front end.

Otherwise, the newer 87-93 bumper will fit no problem.
