347ci ported twisted wedge heads?
Hey, I wanted to get your guys input on an something I might purchase here soon. A few months ago I was in Kentuky and I was noticing all the mustangs they usually have for sale on the sides of the roads. That place is like the mustang capital, but anyways I found this 1993 5.0 that was completely redone inside and out. this fox was spotless. I loved the car but I was just looking. There was nobody there to let me look inside but it had papers posted on the windows that stated all that it had, I cant exactly remember what all there was but I remember that it had 347ci stage 3 ported twisted wedge heads. I was curiouse as if those were good heads or not. What do you guys think?

Maximum Valve Lift (in)
Outside Diameter of Outer Spring (in)
Number of Springs Per Valve
Lock Style
Machined for O-Ring
etc. All I heave in the car is a 303 cam basically. do you know what the right answers would be

what 303 cam? Those heads are leaps and bounds better then GT40 parts. Most likley you will need a different cam to really take advantage of those heads. Those items listed all go with your cam profile and what valve spring setup you run. and O-ring does not apply to what your gonna setup.

RPM range- 3200-6800
Duration- 236/248
Lift- .574"/.595"
Lobe- 110
And for the intake I was thinking Typhoon EFI Intake Manifold Kit (Upper and Lower)
And then ofcoarse the Trick Flow Twisted Wedged Heads ,
If Im not making any sence, Im sorry Im still trying to learn about all of this

If the typhoon is like all the other professional products parts its gonna be a hunk of ****. If you just want 300rwhp you don't really need the expense of building a 347 your motor with some work can do that. The cam you listed it for very high rpms and is not gonna be a good cruising setup.

A good set of heads, intake, cam and support mods like full exhaust you can get over 300rwhp with a 302. It sounds like you are more of a cruiser so you might just want to look into a pre setup package by any one of the many head and intake manufacturers. They aren't always the most powerful setups compare to more hardcore parts, but they will make good power and I think it will be more then you need.
