Unhappy Same ol' thing

I know this board gets alot of threads for clutch and transmission probs but I would like to put my situation out there. I have an '89 lx and I can't put it in any gear without major, major force. Now, I was told by a pro that it wasn't my tranny. So I had A guy look at my clutch he said it was ok. But someone else said it was my throw out bearing. I'm trying to troubleshoot so any help would be appreciated. And yes I'm a newnie all the way around but I'm trying!

sounds like a stretched clutch cable or the stock quadrant is gone.

It could also be your bearing retainer.

it could be a lot of things. ide just go ahead and get the UPR cable/quadrant/firewall adjuster and do it all at once and never have to worry about it again. right after my second RAM HD clutch the cable stretch and took the quadrant with it... the upr piece has been great!
