Newbee need engine help
I have a 95 GT Convertable with a new (rebulit) motor out of a 1988. (Long story) The guy that rebuilt the engine made a few mods to the car. (List Below) However, the car doesn't seem to have the power that I think it should with a new engine. I was told to get a tuner for it. My question is which brand will work. I'm tired of throwing $100 bills at this car to "get it right." I don't want a race car. I drive it daily, but it's a Mustang so I want it to act like one.
Engine Mods: Removed and capped all the smog pump crap (Obviously the check engine light is annoying the crap out of me)
351 Cam (stock)
Mac equal length headers
MSD box and coil
Flowmaster's (Planning on installing an X-pipe eventially)

Hum....I wonder if the cam is causing you the grief. You may need a tune because of it.
Not sure if you will be able to get this engined dialed in with a mail-order tune. You may need a dyno tune. Also, there may be other issues with the motor.

Thanks
Other issues with the engine like...?
I went on the net and found a couple place close that will custom tune it. The only system that I can find is an SCT 4 position chip. I see that is what you have so I assume that's a good system.
Thanks again
