That guy is asking nearly $6,000 for a Fox Body that should be worth about $2,500. BUT, if it is clean, has good paint, nice interior, new motor, and modded the way you like, your prolly can't buy a shitty one and clean it up and have the cost be less then that.
The guy will have a very hard time selling it. The reason is that most buyers who look at something like this don't have cash. This also means they have to use a bank for a loan. The loan value on this car will only be about half what he is asking so his typical buyer can't afford it.
A nice, clean 1993 Fox Body with 60,000 - 75,000 might, on a good day, fetch that much money. Keep in mind that you can buy 1998 GT's for $6,000.

A nice fox body is worth decent money. People seem to be getting more into them, at least in my area. Guy i know sold an 89 GT with 70,000 on it for 6,000. With minor mods like full exhaust, gears, underdrive pulleys, electric fans.

fox prices have gone up, especially for LX cars, i know first hand. i looked for 6 months before i found my car, but when i did it was a hell of a deal. keep an eye on corral.net, stangnet.com, autotrader.com, ebay, and your local classifieds. i looked for 6 months, and i find one hell of a car for $2400 that was exactly what i wanted, had to drive 7 hours to get it, but drove it home with the cruise and ac on, shifting gears, pulling the 3.73s hard and the tremmec singing. just keep looking for the right car for you.
