those are all good bolt ons...

1. get long tube headers
2. get an sct chip
3. pro 5.0 is the best shifter IMO

also, you can adjust the timing and get a few extra ponies

Also look into heads/cam/intake/valvetrain for a really fast car N/A... trickflow makes good stuff...

If ya wanted to go faster yet buy pistons/ bottem end

or get a supercharger... I don't think thats a great idea with those miles though...

personally... I'd just rebuild the entire motor with performance parts

there are soooooooooooo many ways to make a car fast

skip all of that and look into some heads, intake, cam setup.

You can find really nice used heads, intake and even cams if you research and look around. thats the best thing to do. As your heads arent very good at all.

Heads, cams, intake. Plain and simple.

Even though the 5 litre is a reliable engine, you at at 150k miles which means something can break. A rebuild may be in the future depending on the abuse the car has had in the past.

You could start from the ground up with a nice 5 liter stroker kit with heads, cams, intake, pinions and just goto town with that engine, depending on your money situtation.

Speed is expensive...

What they said will wake it up alot. but...your 95 EECIV will hold you back. It likes simple bolt ons but once you get heads, cam, and intake, your computer tries to stay within it's parameters. You will have to call or look at Pro-M's website for a PIH kit, they have two now. one with wiring and computer, one with wiring and you find a computer. years ago when i put the crate motor in, GT-40 long block, GT-40 Y aluminum heads, E303 Cam, GT-40 intake, it felt like it was slower than before. Had a chip burnt but that didn't do to good, panhandle was new with chips, so i went with the PIH kit and a 89 A9L computer, rewired some wires...and it was night and day, dyno's 290HP to the wheels after that, also had other bolt ons. but it was definitely worth it.
