bump steer kits really needed with lowering??

Default bump steer kits really needed with lowering??

i am about to install a bbk lowering spring kit in my car.do i really need a bumpsteer kit? and what exactly are the symptoms of needing a bumpsteer kit?

How low is the predicted drop? I have read and been told that anything at or over 2" you should get caster camber plates to get the alignment as close to correct as possible. As for bumpsteer kit,,everything I've read states you should get bumpsteer kit to take care of bumpsteer. If I understand it right bumpsteer is when the front end will steer/jump as you go over bumps or irregularities in the road.
