That is because everyone hates the Mustangs Because (A) thier cheap and produce good Horsepower for the money. their are alot of vids of mustangs killing all other cars but those really never get posted. the way i see it is that for every one jap car that beats a mustang cobra thier are tons of cobras killing all the rest of the jap cars

 

Thats true... Drop asmuch money into that cobra that was put into that rx-7,s engine and see who wins then

 

listen to the exhaust when the stang idles...then listen when they are "racing"...that pony ain't even trottin

 

Lol...My friend was saying that a civic with an integra engine, would burn a v6 with a FEW mods...i didn't kno wut to say (basically wants to race me if he gets the civic...I'll be having almost 1K in MODS by then, if I decide to...)

 

a guy I used to work with had an integra with some mods when at the time I had my v6 with my custom deal exhaust setup and nothing else. I hung with him until 3rd and thats when he left me, so depending on what you do, you could probably take your friend, once the mods are complete. otherwise, save yourself the embarassment.

RX7 still sounds like crap.....crap=rice

 

yeah granded an RX-7 with a twin turbo isn't slow...listen to the mustang...it slows down the first time because there is a car infront of it...and the second time it looked like the RX-7 was showing off as they hit traffic...i would like to see the two of them go off the line, no passengers...

 

Some interga's with b18 Japan engine like stated earlier can hang with the v6 like the 94-98 and even some 99-04 but not the 05 those v6 are way faster. My personal opinion the v6 mustangs are cows. I driven them and they are no different then like driving a maxima, or an old Acura legend. By the way losing to like a twin turbo Rx-7 or a Supra is not that shameful do to those cars are proven veterans on the road. Supra in my opinion are the cars that are the tuffest to beat. Now I am only talking about at the street level not professional drag race level

 

yeah but dude i'm sry but when it comes down to it, i know wit just my intake i can burn those old POS integras...they're crap...i've done it so many times..this kid keeps swearing to beat me, and that my car is all looks, (and while in high performance yeah it is all looks) i still burn the crap outa him. I still think alota it comes down to just knowing how to drive, and when to shift your gears...but yeha **** an integra...they're...sure u put a turbo in it it'll be fast...same if you give me a few bean burritos and a match behind my A$$, i'll fly past anything...

A 12SEC TIME SLIP those things are nice on the street for lookin good but most of the time a bolt on 03/04 cobra will romp on them any day of the week

O just so you know rx-7 is a ford so when you talk about Mazda you talk about ford! there in bed together! That your rice brother

 

yeap that is true... althought ford lets Mazda Japan Division handle the RX-7 and now the RX-8 specs. I have always liked the RX-7 they handle Great... now my buddy at work has a 5.0 Rx-7 that is right a 302 with a supercharger. 475 street beast that Handles... now we have to be open minded that supras and rx-7 twin turbos can hold thier own...

 

RX7's and supra's are supercars but sadly, the rx7 is a rotary engine and is about the size of a 4cyl SOHC..mainly why they sound like crap. i've seen a few 400hp+ supra's run lower than 12sec slips and the same for the RX7's which comonly are known for being swapped w/ a 383 stroker in the 2nd gen's.

Grimmz, anyone can wax an integra w/ just and intake if it's the LS or GS model they only carry 112hp to the wheel lol....the GS-r and Type-R will eat your v6 up, especially when one of those 2 engines are swapped into a civic HB.
