Some Donuts In The Bullitt
Just dicking around at the shop, doing some donuts in the rain.

I accidentally did that in my car, at the convention center. In loose ass gravel, right after i did the gas pedal mod, whipped it sideways then fishtailed, lost it but slammed on the brakes D: definatly scared me cuz i didnt try to do it.

Burnouts in the rain are pointless and prove nothing.

But back to the thread - I don't support "donuts in the rain". In fact, burnouts are next to impossible in the rain because the act of burning out is burning rubber which smokes. All you're doing by spinning your tires in the rain is spinning tires and making noise. Nothing to show for it. Fun? Maybe, sure. Show worthy? Absolutely not. This is almost as pointless as when Spin spun his Viper in the intersection just for the heck of it. It's stupid. -2 Cool Points to the dude with the Bulitt. Minus 1 for your sn, and minus 1 for the "burnout"...or lack there of. |
Ah, well there was a car show in waco tonight(which i EFFING MISSED) and i saw a yellow mach 1 that looked EXACTLY like yours roll through town. Really wish i saw that show...saw some badass cars going through town.

stobes were in the car when i bought it. And, please, by all means... could anyone PLEASE tell me when in my post did i mention anything about a burnout, or even better yet, where in the videos thread did you see anything bout ONLY burnout videos could be posted? Damn a buncha dicks on here it seems. I mean shit. I assure you the car is very capable of an actual burnout, but being as how its been raining here for over a week solid now, I was bored as fuck, and kinda hard to do a burnout in the pouring rain. But as previously stated, when the rain stops, there will be a burnout vid posted just for you guys. Ugh
|
i think this guys first post on hear he was trying to sell this car, after the thread got locked he started posting.lol
|
Fun stuff
|
Wow! And I thought I joined a mustang forum. Sounds to me like i joined a hater club. I mean damn guys, I thought it was all about the enjoyment of owning/driving a mustang and some sort of cameraderie. Guess not.
|
I like to screw around in the rain sometimes too, its fun!
What temp HID's are those, 8k it looks like? |
I'm confused... Nick, it's "impossible" to do burnouts in the rain? Do any of you watch drag racing, ever been in a water box? If you can't do a burnout in the rain or on wet ground you're not trying hard enough.
@ the video, you sux @ teh d0nutz! lol |
I said "next to impossible"...and I was referring to the Bullitt and it's owner.
|
Yeah I thought you were trying to sell the car? Nobody's gonna want a car you've been beating the piss out of. Hopefully you don't screw around too much and end up damaging the car, but to each their own.
What's more fun though than doing a donut in the rain, is coming out of a turn and hammering it and getting sideways. |

I don't generally beat up on it. But what's the point of having a mustang if ya don't play in it from time to time, ya know? These cars were built to be driven. I mean, it WAS raining. And gotta wear the new off the tires i just put on it lol

Just saying that generally people who are trying to sell their car try and keep and keep the wear and tear down. They usually drive it as little as possible. But hey, it's your car.
|
Yeah I don't see what all the hate is for. I love the 01 Bullitts and hope to own one someday. Badass car and sweet video too. post up some more pictures some time.

Dont worry about the downers around here. You know what they say....
|
Thanks man. So i have a question... with a 125 shot, do i needa do any engine mods to support it? And how do you like them 4.10's? I'm goin back n forth b/w puttin 3.73's or 4.10's.
|
Your car will do fine with a 125 shot. I'd go with 3.73's if I were you. Shit maybe even 3.90's.

How much top end and fuel mileage do you lose with your 4.10's? I know they give you a hella boost in bottom end.
|
I don't know about others with 4.10's but I know I have a shit load of top end in my Mach 1. I raced a WS6 TA the other day and it was unreal. The TA was a 6 speed and didn't have HALF the top end I did. I was running 130 in 4th when I let off and it was still pulling extremely hard. I doubt I will have another car with anything but 4.10's in it.
My car isn't very good on fuel mileage though. Highway mileage is decent if you're just cruising in 5th and staying off it. In town though it's anywhere from 13-15. |
Really? Thats alot better than i thought!!! In that case I may just go with the 4.10's then. I was kinda leary bout them cuz i wasn't sure how much i'd lose on the big end and fuel mileage. Thats awesome to hear. I love those WS6's they're tuff cars. Wouldn't have one over my stang tho!
|
Yeah I love the WS6's too. It was actually my first race ever, I found out what my car really has. He definitely had traction on his side though. All I did was spin all the way through first and into second, plus every time I shifted.
|
HaHa!!! Well thanks for the info, you've swayed my decision. 4.10's it will be in the Bullitt!!!

Now you know how it feels for someone to misread your words and talk trash. Like the Bullitt and it's owner. |
