Ok, This is interesting. Watch the 1st vid and at the end, watch the next one. I say mostly just space junk, But some of them are pretty UFO looking creepy stuff. LOL. Why don't they just land on earth and either be friend or foe, and then we can say "Get the fuck off my lawn" or get pwned one way or the other..

the universe is too big for earth to be the only planet that supports intelligent life. We cant even comprehend its vastness.

i dunno, im sure there is life out there, but intelligent life is something else. We are no more of a crowning achievement of evolution any more than any other top predator, but instead of fangs and claws we have brains that help us build guns and artillery.

successful evolution does not mean intelligence is ever created, and we very well may be alone in this regard. Agfter all, of the umpteen billion years the planet has been there, intelligence as we know it has only been here a few thousand years. no more than a quick fleeting though on the planetary time scale.

im sure there have been other intelligent beings, im sure there will be more, but i wouldnt be overly suprised to learn that all the others have long died out and we are currently the smartest things in the universe.

Yes, But think of it like this. The universe is so staggering immense with billions of galaxies our size and larger. There must be intellegent life somewhere in at least half of those galaxies, if not all of them. Our own milky way is so large we at this stage in our evolution, will never be able to know what's in our own galaxy, That's just one galaxy in billions. Maybe the ufo's we are seeing are way,way more advanced but are still just learning how to hop to new galaxies, they might be a little scared or cautious about contacting anyone..

Just like in Star Trek 1st contact, They just learned about warp drive motors. and are still just test driving them.. LOL...

The fact that we cannot even begin to understand how vast the universe is...let alone even our own galaxy, makes it a long shot to say we are alone.

There is a greater chance of ther not being anything out there than there being nothing.

we cant even see 99.9% of whats out there. yes we are just a blip of time, but that fact just strengthens the theory that we are not alone.

Chances are that intellegent life is incredibly rare at best

space is huge my guess is that even if there is another form out there we never find it

edit: I lean more toward agreement with jack in the respect that if there was something else out there it might have died out before there was life on earth if we find evidence of a lost alien civilization I think that would be cool

Heh. Basically The universe is so huge, you could come up with something like a large purple shapeshifting unicorn bird and it could probably exist. But thats just a theory.

I have no idea if there are aliens or not, and I dont really care.

Speaking of aliens though, that D-9 movie looks like it has some potential.
