If you get in an accident with one of those, its like a train hitting a wet cardboard box filled with wet paper bags.

Exactly. That thing was not to street friendly. It would haul the mail though. I'll bet he breaks some moving parts in it before too long. You gotta watch out for those ricers with extra cash to spend. They love to sneak up on ya. Banzai !!!!:confused1

Del Slows are garbage...
Id rather put performance parts on a hybrid engine than a del slow.

That vid is a bit old. It's a Full-Race turbo set up on a engine that originally only made 160ish WHP. $8k and a t70 turbo with good tuning like done on that car is capapble of well over 700hp! A similar set-up on a close friend of mines civic HB is making 793whp on 26psi and goes 9.67 @158mph.

600hp in a 2300lb car vs. 600hp in a mustang...that del sol is going to ball out, sorry power to weight ratio is a killer.

good old vid tho. Nice to see 4 gears of black marks

yea ... but if a 700hp mustang and a 700hp civic pull into a parking lot, who will get the most looks and most women coming to see? the mustang, hands down

some of my buddys have DSMs that are almost as fast as my car ... and my car is the one getting all the looks when we go out...

Twin-disc clutch assembly...lasts x10 longer than any stage 4 or 5 regular clutch.

Yoshi, These days, if you see an import cruise into a parking lot with a huge front mount and smell 116 gas on just a down pipe.....thats going to get all the looks. I'm sorry but it's the truth. Everyone see's nasty mustangs and has seen them for years, now it's the imports. DSM's will get a few looks but everyone knows they are a Dodge/Chrystler product and know they are junk. I tell you what, go to a NMRA event or Fun ford weekend and checkout the crowd there and women, then go to a NHRA Sport compact event, or a NOPI event and you will see where it's all at....thats why i take my Mustang to NOPI events twice the crowd and twice the women!
