Default Cats

Ok, I am planning on getting some hi-flow cats for my car soon after I get my wheels installed. Is this a good idea? Will I get any power gain or sound improvement? I have true dual flowmasters already. Also, what kind of cats would you guys suggest? Links would be helpful. Thanks.

Personally on a V6 i'd just get rid of the cats and get a o/r pipe.......but you could get some high flow cats if your worried about emissions. But not much of a sound improvement

highflow cats do make the car louder but not like off road pipes do. where do you live anyhow if you dont have emissions just go get a set of duals made after your stock headers and you will gain power and sound.

I live in Indiana. I guess im not too worried about emissions and plus going without the cats would be MUCH cheaper. However, I dont know how my parents will react to me going without...so, any suggestions on the type of cats (with links maybe) and do the o/r pipes have any kind of converters in them?

I want to go with a o/r x-pipe and I'm not exactly sure what would fit my 6er so does anyone know of someone that sells an o/r x-pipe that'll fit?
