i thought i'd put some of my numbers here as a reference:

2001 3.8
207/215 0.493/0.495 108lca cam
SCT custom tune
8.8 rear with 3.73s and tlock
aluminum driveshaft
mac cai
underdrive pulley
GT take-offs with h-pipe and mac mufflers

i made 210.7rwhp and 219.8rwtq on a dynojet. i have graphs to prove it on my cardomain page (http://www.cardomain.com/ride/593781). i thought my numbers were kinda high. if you are making 225rwhp and 267rwtq from just a CAI, headers/exhaust, and a tune (and i don't think you would make those numbers up), either the dyno was lying to you or you have a magical CAI.

of course a 59deg intake temp helps.

what brand are your headers and CAI?

I dont care who you are or how much you know about your v6 (although you probably know more about teh 6's than me. Im still pickin up on em :P) or what you have done to it. If your going to say what your numbers are and back them up, you need proof, and that goes for all THREE of you.

Im not going to close this, but lets at least be a little more respectful of everyone else in the thread.

Now for my .02. For the mods that you have listed it would make sense for those numbers to be at the crank, but not at the wheels. However, every car is different and each tune is different. So, unfortunately, before I see a dyno graph, I cant make a full judgement.

Carry on and play nice, or else im getting my boomstick.

You're right and I am sorry if I did offend someone as I am sure I did. I do agree that those numbers would make a lot more sense at the crank.

Once again sorry to all that I have disrespected it wasn't my intent. Just wanted to bring some tech into this that's all.

First off, I will play by MTShambles rules. Here's my mod list (engine and suspension only):

MAC CAI
65mm Throttle Body
80mm PRO-M MAF
RGR ported and polished upper intake
RGR ported and polished lower intake
Ford Racing 24lb injectors
MSD 8.5mm red spark plug wires
SCT tuned chip
8.8 rear end
Ford Racing 3.73:1 gear
Flowmaster 40 series true dual exhaust
Steeda strut tower brace
B&M Hammer shifter

Waiting to be installed:
Super Six Motorsports 99-04 Stage 2+ heads (soon to be superheads)
Super Six Motorsports custom gound cam 214/220 w/ 110 lobe
Super Six Motorsports 1.73 roller rockers
04 Cobra M112 supercharger
04 Cobra dual blade throttle body
04 Cobra plenum
90mm Lightning MAF
255lph fuel pump
MAC high flow cats
Magnaflow X pipe (for sale)
Newage Tuning carbon fiber intake
Ford Racing 42lb injectors

1/4: 16.135 (stock)
1/8: 8.56
60ft: 2.1

I have not taken it to the track yet with the new mods. The engine should look like this when it goes in my stang (currently in the test vehicle).

Blk02Stang, can you please just post the graph and prove all of us V6 owners wrong? Otherwise, just cut the act.

mysteed how did you fit the M112 to a 99+ 3.8? What kind of intake manifold and who makes it?

To put it simply? New Age Tuning came up with a carbon fiber lower intake that will allow the use of the Eaton M112. Of course, this also means that whatever you can bolt onto the M112, you can now bolt onto the V6. The design is still in its testing phases, and we've run into a few small issues (such as hooking up cruise control, being sold a faulty test motor, ect) but it looks like the motor should be back up and running soon. Once it is up and running for a period of time, it goes to me for a little bit of fun. Lemme know if you have any other questions.
