A little note for all V6 Owners
#61
yeah mine with tickets is 165 a month and because i got two more its going up to 230..
And ur right i never have moded a V8, but my car friends have. They say there is not much difference when moding a V8. The the sound is still pretty much the same and the feel is still just as smooth because the Gts come built for good sized power. I was just saying its more fun because u can feel EVERYTHING u do to a v6 with your mods (and a tuner of course... might as well not mod if u dont, the tuner brings it to life) and short of taking off mufflers and such the sound is normally the same on a gt. They dont do super chargers tho so i dont know about a super gt.
i know u save money on mods with getting the stock gt... but really, ur just spending it in the sticker price for car. 16k vs 24k 05+ Mustangs (just some dealers around here pricing in shitty ohio..) adding the super, duals, tuner, and new gears and such u still come out same if not ahead of the stock gt.
but im sure in ur area ur gts are easier to get. As i said, coulda gotten that 00-04 seried gt for 8k, but i passed it up for the newer body style and simply because i thought it drove better (and insurance wanted extra like 80-120 bucks for the Gt when shoping around...) but now im making like 1k a month payments on my car and ima OWN it soon

Hahaha thank you for that realization

In alot of cases you can find GT's for just as cheap 6ers. For instance when i bought my v6 there was an SN95 gt with about the same miles for the same exact price. My dad talked me out of buying it though and now im kicking myself in the pants.

Also, to the Honda van guy. My mom has one (not the touring). I have driven it a lot. It is VERY fast for what it is, but it will be decently behind the v6.
and also think about what you are saying. The EX version is $32,000 and the touring is $38,000... I don't think its that much to be embarrassed about that a car thats twice as expensive is a few seconds slower.
