Default Sooo, I've got a leaky....

Thought my headers were causing a ticking sound I've been hearing but I've got an upper-manifold gasket leak. So here's what I need to know:

Should I just get a new gasket?

Should I do the windstar swap?

Should I get one from supersix?

I have an 02 3.8 that I will not be rebuilding and will not be doing forced induction.

Either just a new oe replacement gasket or if you wanna stay cheap and get a little power out of it at the same time go with the windstar intake manifold. Just dont go with a aftermarket one like a supersix or another because they are not worth the money imo...just my .02

If you have no intention of rebuilding the motor or going with a power adder you might as well just get the OE replacement gasket. If you do decide to go with a new intake manifold get the Windstar intake over a ported stocker.

I'd just get a new gasket, cheapest, easiest, quickest fix, but you gain no power.

Alright, and I feel sluggish now. Where's the cheapest place to pick one up? Any parts store?

Well, replaced the upper intake gasket. NO LUCK. Pisses me off. My brother in law told me that I might need to retighten my header bolts. Anyone think this could be it?

worth a shot...what's the worst that could happen, it could leak? i think it's just a good excuse to buy aftermarket headers
