Default Timing Cover Question

Ok i just wanted to know if there was a difference between the 95 and 96 V6 timing cover. I know one difference is that the water pumps are totally different and the oil pump from the 95 and 96 are the same and so the main question i wanted to ask was..... Is the oil flow difference from the 95 and 96 V6 mustang? Cuz they took out my engine again and saw that the camshaft was rubbed against the timing cover. I called supersixmotorsports and they told me that the only difference was that there was going to be a different water pump and they said that maybe they didnt tighten the camshaft bolt that much.

So wat do yall think?

and yes that is why we couldnt turn the crankshaft pulley but everything in the motor is just fine just that the timing cover took sum damage from the camshaft

i have no idea on all of this.. u shouldve ordered a v6 engine from my junkyard for about 400 bucks and changed it to add all ur extras to it. they are gonna charge an arm and a leg for as much hell they've been thru and they tore ur engine up too basically.. personally i wouldnt pay them a dime for them being idiots.

well if they did not tighten the camshaft bolt, yes they are going to pay for the timing cover. they even said "if there is a problem with the engine we will pay for anything thats wrong"

so all in one...

the website i ordered the timing cover from, sent me the wrong one. Just called them and they said that they just go by the casting number. So they sent a 96 timing cover in which i needed a 95. So everything is good to go now

i like them personally. i did not gap my plugs to what they say i just left the stock ones in, but i think they improved my car. i know everyone says they are not that good but i like them. I think that along with my tuner and cai and TB my car is really impressive. i cant wait till the strip opens here so i can see what i can run in the 1/4mile. it does not open till the begining of march but i cant wait. I will have true duals by then to so im excited.

Awesome that is good to know. Yeah i cant wait man. The only prob with New Mexico is the Altitude. We are a mile over sea level here and so is where the strip is at. I really want to be in the 14's but dont know how much the altitude will affect my times.
