is there a way to remove the mustang pony emblem on the fender of my car?

How can i remove the emblem that is placed on the side of the mustangs? I want to replace the ones i have with new ones. Any directions any where, please help

why do you all ways make to threads? just take a flat head screw driver and pull them off that your going to have holes be hind them just so you know.

tips to you guys that plan on removing the emblems. all i did was take a piece of cardboad and a flat head screw drived and i put the cardboard against the car psuhing on the bottom of the emblem and then put the screwdriver under the emblem and went up with it. came off pretty easy. their was alot of that black tape on the car afterwards but came off easy.

So when u pulled them off was there 2 holes there and the black tape. Because the emblems that I am getting are the 40th anivercity emblem because it will match the rims I'm getting, and I need more chrome on my car jus a Lil bit, but thy have 2 parts on the back of the emblem that stick out that look like they need to be inserted into the fender of the car. So did yours hve 2 holes?

Also how did u get the black tape off your car when u removed the other ones?

their is a hole behind each one the size of a pennie. and i just used soap,water, and a towel and scrubbed away.

Dude do yourself a favor, buy a little import, hook it up the way you want it. 22x6" rims, throw a huge wing on the back, and put "Type R" emblems on it.

Unless you own an 04 the badges wont come off. They use some kind of super secret crazy glue at the factory on the other years to ensure you dont replace your badges with ones that arent appropriate for your car.

There are def some other ways to get more chrome on your car.

I jus like the color. Don't come here giving me heat. Why put a gt scoop if to car is not a gt. Y have bullits in your car if your cars not a bullet. Y put dual mufflers if u don't have a gt. Why change anything on your car instead of leaving It factory........ Because u fckijg want too. I like the way that emblem looks so I want to put it on, it goes very well wit the black and chrome lip cobra r rims I'm going to put on my mustang. There's nothing. On the emblem that says 04 anyway, I no it was only on a 04 car but so what. I'm not riceing my car, an putting 22s on my car wit neon lights.

Well none of us here falsely badge our cars so let us know if it fits

. You should have bought some 232 badges at least your car would be legit unlike it will be after you put those on. As for all of your statements none of those make sense. Do some research sixers came with the "gt" hood scoop on half the 04's. The side scoops where actually used on one of the cobra's so yeah what your doing has nothing to do with modifying parts.
