Cam

Seem to be at a loss. Anybody know of any good cam upgrades for the 99-04 3.8? I

Super Six Motor Sports / RPM Mustangs / and DELK performance all sell custom spec'd cams for our cars.

However gains will be smaller without doing ported&polished intakes and heads at the same time.

In the meantime, before I get the intakes and heads, will I at least get that meaner sound from just puttin the cam in?

Yes, but unless your doing the install your self I wouldn't wanna pay for that twice.

Yeah, you're probably right. the last thing I want to do is mess with a cam. i've got some guys that could probably help me over the summer, and by then I can save some cash to get the cam and have food money haha

You want a mean sound...

That's the best idea I've heard yet! lol

superchargers are 3 grand a pop for your V6 dude. Vortec makes them. at Super Six Motorsports, they sell a pack of fully ported lower intake, ported/polished upper intake/plenum, port/polished heads, Comp Cams, and a Throttle body for 1800 - 2700, depending on the package you get. you get the same increase from a stock engine with supercharger at 9 PSI (the safe psi a stock engine can handle), and you spend less. :)
