Question RPM drop?

today i was at a red light and i look at my rmps and they were at 500 and the heater was not on, when i have the heater or a/c on it use to be at like 900.

so i thought it might be the air filter i took the filter out and then they were at 800, with out the heater or a/c on should i change the filter or is there some way to make the RPM go back up?

sounds like a dirty IAC not opening all the way or a dirty MAF. I guess it could be a severely clogged filter.

Get yourself a K&N or another paper filter ( I HATE fram filters but that's me) and check it out. We can go from there.
