Default Fuel Injectors

Is it safe to use fuel injector cleaner in our cars? I've heard that it can mess the engine up so I want to make sure... If it is safe, what kind should I use? I have a 99 v6. Thanks for the help guys

Can I add all of the seafoam to my gas tank or should I use the vacuum (I found the post on seafoam however it's being done on an 8) If I need to use the vacuum where is it located on the 6... Sorry if i'm being annoying about this, i've just never done anything like this before.

i use it in the pcv system. just let the engine suck it up(i use half a can at a time) and then turn the car off. let it sit for 5-10 min. start it up and watch the smoke show lol

yea. i put some paper in the throttle so the rpm is at about 1300-1400. then pull the pcv hose from the intake. spray in in there. the car will stumble and run rough. do a little at a time so you dont hydrolock the engine. when you get about half a can in it turn it off. wait 5-10 min. then start it back up.
