Which tires sizes??

I'm planning on buying some new wheels Black FR500's 17x10.5 DD in back and 17x9's up front. I was wanting to put a BFG 315/35/17 in the rear wat size tire should I put up front??

Wats the difference between the 35 and the 40??? wat do those numbers mean??

They are the size of the sidewall.
