I needed tires real bad so I took a set of free Douglas Performance GTO-H tires. My dad gave them to me for a winter tire that I can just play around with cause they were cheap at wal mart. I thought the mustang would sure just roast em every time I hit the throttle but NO. The 245/45/17 Douglas tires are hooking the street out of a 1st gear roll! I had 275 Nitto DR's on it and they wouldnt hook up but these will! I was extremely surprised. Cant wait to take them to the 1/8th mile and lower the pressure. Any ideas why the smaller maypops hook better than the DR's?
