2009 v6 vapor silver stang
Will be putting black stripes over the top and already has black tape stripe on sides
Will also be putting black quarter louvers and a vapor silver hood scoop, and black bullit fuel door.


What wheels will look good on my mustang?? I can't decide what color options will look good. Most of the things I am putting on the car are black, so I wasn't sure if black rims would be best or not? I'm just 17 so I'm new to customizing mustangs... tis my first =P

Any help or suggestions would be great.

 

I would say no to black louvers, do them the color of the body(Mis-matched body panels/pieces look terrible). Yes to the rest of your ideas (stripes, hood scoop(not sold on it really), fuel door). Black 18'' fr500's would be nice as would black bullitts. I know they are common but they look good. Also maybe the black out panel that goes between the taillights, give it a nice retro look?

 

i have a silver stang and ive been eyein the black with chrome lip FR500 rims, 18x10 in rear and 18x9 in front. i think they look great on silver but thats me

 

Any black Mustang wheels would look good. I am really liking the 18" 10th anni wheels from 50resto

 

Can you hook me up with a link for those rims please. like I said im really new to all this stuff and not quite sure on what to do yet.

Its your car if you wanted to paint a pink ***** on it, who cares its yours. Do what you like and if others do like it then you most likely suck.

 

Lol yea that sounds great I'll get right to it!..... What I mean't by all this. Is, I dont want multiple shades of black on my car and wasn't sure if the tail light trim could be used in conjunction with the honeycomb trim that goes on the tail lights. And I thought someone out there for sure, would be able to let me know if these products would go together or if I have to pick and choose between some.

Those are Volk GTS and I have never seen them in the finish

 

They are my favorite for sure!!

They are Volk Phantom gt-s with formula silver center.Very rare and the set I showed just sold for $3000 with tires.

Ok So now I was wanting to ask about some things on the back of the car. mustangvsix said that I should get the magnetic blackout panel and tint the tail lights. What are my options on blackout kits on the back of the car? Like If I wanted the honeycomb panel, and the honeycomb tail light kit.. would I need the black mustang brake tail light dress up kit as well?? I just want to make sure I dont order stuff that i can't use together

they all look like they should work out for you from what I have seen on your list,I would skip the billett pieces, but to each there own...

 

I think I'd take that 885 and buy your black rims and tires...

But that's just me...

 

all that stuff looks great man. Only thing is skip the tail light outline things, you wont' notice them with the honeycomb covers you want to put on. Otherwise everything looks like it would work really well together.

I'm going to do performance upgrades and rims all at same time after the exterior stuff. Mainly because I've heard that when i change rim diameter it will mess with the speedometer?? Is that true? I thought I would get a tuner, cold air intake, 4.10 gears, and a T Lok
