Default 285 too small for 18x10?

I buying chrome DD bullitts for my 94 GT, 18x9 and 18x10.

American Muscle recomends 285's on the 10's. Dosn't this seem a little small to you? will this fit and if it does will it looks rediculouse?

FYI im puttin the 265's up front.

Let me know what you think

I got 285's on mine and they look ok, but I would go 295's if there not to much more in price...
