Talking Got my new shoes today ** PICS**

Well after all the debate I didn't end up going with the Continental. It looked like a snow tire in person. I ended up with 255/45/17 all the way around because I only have 8 inch wheels. They are BFG G Force Sports. I like them so far and tread wear is great for the 50 miles I have on them so far. Just kidding. Well If someone wonders what 255s look like on an 8 inch wheel here it is. Oh yea I know it needs lowered like crazy but its one thing at a time for my budget.

ONly cost me 633 out the door with the certificate membership for free replacement if I damage the tire beyond repair. They also have free rotation.

Tire rack has them for 114 each... estimate shipping around 40 bux
But, waiting for shipping is a bitch, and then you have to have them mounted.
So in the end not a bad deal w/ tax and everything.
My view on tire prices are scewed because I get them wholesale...
255 should be nice, a bit more meat than the stock 245s

I looked at tire rack but there was only one local place to have them mounted that was on their list and they wanted 75 dollars for mount only no balance it wasn't worth it for me. I gave 116 each + mounting + disposal + 52.00 for mounting and balancing + replacement certificate.
So not to bad. I dont think.

NICE! Like that tread design. I know what you mean. My car needs lowered too but we also need groceries and have a house payment and the wife likes to buy too many clothes. lol... I'm kinda thinking about getting some Nitto 555s soon for mine. Those BFG's are really cool though.

Yea Its not much wider but a little helps I guess. I have noticed I cant spin these BFG nearly as easy as those POS generic tires I had, even when they were new.
As far as slamming it. I need $$$$

Manwhore bidness is a little slow for a 6'2 250 lb guy.

Went to the track last night and the tires hooked awsome.
Piss poor 60 foot and 1/8 mile times that I am to ashamed to post. I dont know what the problem was. Maybe because it was 90 degrees after dark and about 75% humidity. Thats what Im blaming it on anyways.
At least there was minimal tire spin!
