Are there any differences in the suspension settings when you get the 18 inch wheels vs. the 17 inch wheels?
I just got a 2006 and it came with the optional 17 inch wheels, but I want to get the 18 inch polished wheels with more aggressive tires. Thoughts? |

Go ahdead and do it. New rims to fill the fenderwell and brand new tires with tread always make a car look great. If you get 18 inch rims dont be afraid to go wider in the back if you can. You will be much happier with the amount of traction you will get compared to a smaller tire. The suspension should be the same, and the tires you get will determine how the ride is a little bit.

18s are no problem on the new mustangs... people squeeze 20s on but in my opinion that is rather ugly...
and you cant adjust the stock suspension... you can buy a nice suspension kit such as from mustangtuning.com that will lower your car and give it an agressive stance... ya... go 18s... no worries! and new rims and suspension is something every mustang needs ![]() |
