all depends on track how your car likes it etc...

i would say for starters use 18-20psi and heat them in 1st gear for 10secs should make them hot. I normaly just smoke them till i see somke count to 5 and roll forward.

ps- do not dry hop your car it takes all the good rubber off the tire.

since i have a auto i do my burn out in 2nd for about 5 seconds and pull forward. i run my 275's at 16 psi they are bald though. when they had tread about 20 psi. like guy said it depends on the track.

dry hop is when you just spin your tires to get the rocks off, i guess. so dont dry hop after you heat the tires up.

dry hop is when you do a luacnh before you stage. This really is more for stick cars who will do a burnout then pull forward and rev dump the clutch go forward a few feet then stage th is a no no. Just burn them till you see some count ot 5 roll forward. Are you going tomarrow or friday?

You don't do yours in drive? Does doing it in second help keep the rpms from rising to quickly? I ask cuz I've done one burnout but was in drive and noticed the RPMS rose awfully quickly

he keeps in 2nd because it spins the tires around more at a lower rpm. I forgot eisen has 4.10 gears so yeah he should also use 2nd gear.

And your rpms went up so fast cause your using 1st gear. You could do 2nd but i dont know with the stock gears if you have the power to do that.

you can start your burn out in 1 then move it up to 2nd once the rpms jump up high enough. i did that all the time at the track before the blower and 373's.

I run about 15 psi, burnout for around 8 seconds in 2nd gear with the nittos. (3.27 gears). Has netted me low 1.7 60' times.

I ran 12 psi in my old Nitto DRs one time and it seemed pretty good. I usually ran about 20 but just depends on how the track is. A slippery track u can use 12 psi. On a decent one you wont need so little.

i ran 17-19 psi on mine. you dont have to boil the tires. with 3:73 in 1st gear i would do a 5-7 second burnout.
