install question

Has anyone on here installed full length subframe connectors? I have access to a welder and a drive on lift. How much work is involved? Do I need to pull the interior of the car ? Thanks

what do you mean by pulling the interior out of the car???

Pulling the carpet out. Not you don't have to pull the interior. They only weld to the frame. If you were doing through the floor frame connectors then you would have to pull the interior. Cost me $125 for installation. Don't know if they were done on drive on or post lift, but the shop said that there is a correct way to do it on a post lift. My only concern is that now when I launch there is a crackling noise.

Its a must have. I just order me a set from MT this weekend. My cobra don't have them yet.

I can't stress enough to people how important suspension and chasis work is, to get your car to run quick. I think that sub frames are one of the best mods....by far!!

I have Full length MM connectors on the way, should be here on Weds I believe.

Should be on the car this weekend with any luck.

I've got griggs std. length connectors under the car which is where my torque arm mounts to in front. I've also got a set of griggs in-floor subs in the garage waiting for the 5.4 install (going to be replacing lots of stuff then so might as well wait). One of the best mods ever. Really helps isolate the suspension from body twist. Important when you're cornering.

They are a must. Had them on the GT and it and springs was the frist things done to the cobra.
