Default gettin started

ok so the mod bug has betten me. so i have some more bolt ons planed, but i think that it is time to start upgrading my stock 10yr old suspension.

when i got my 17 fr's i got a bit of a bummpy ride. so id like to fix that.

so what would be a good place to start i think i herd that sub frame conecters was a good place. idk if i should lower it tho. i live in PA and the roads are famously terable. haha. huge bumps and dips. so idk if i can get away with a drop.
thanks guys

If you are afraid of going low, get the FRPP Handling Pack (which is just springs, shocks/struts, and sway bars off the Bullitt and Mach 1). However, anything other than stock isn't going to give you a softer or the same ride quality since the springs rates are generally stiffer. As for subs, I'll let someone chime in on that but it seems like a great idea and I myself am hoping to get a good deal on a set at Carlisle this Saturday.

I have the Maximum Motorsports full length SFC's and was really suprised by how much of a difference they made. They make your car feel like the front is connected to the back. You never realise that the stock SN95 mustangs are like a floppy pancake untill you start trying to stiffen it up. The SFC's help eliminate squeeks and rattles also. The care felt like it was all on one plane while driving with the SFC's.

Also for me, the SFC's acually made the ride softer, rather than more harsh. I felt like I could actually go over bumps and stuff becuase the car didn't go to crap and bounce me all over when I went over stuff. With my springs, dampers, and SFC's my care ride tons better than stock and not any more harsh than my girlfriends stock suspensioned '02 Eclipse.

I recommend them.
