Looking at getting some full length subframe connectors for my 01 Vert. I have done much research, but what can I expect the car to feel like afterwards? After driving various cars from new stangs to bimmers and sti's they feel considerably stiffer which I love. With a frame designed in the 70's and no top I dont expect the rigidity of those, but is it a significant step up from stock? little step? worth it?

I am a huge fan of the sfc modification..
Vert's come factory with additional bracing so I'm not 100% sure if the difference will be greater or not. I'm sure someone will chime in with vert experience. I've added them to all my coupes and they just make the car stiffer. Launches flatter, turns flatter and more stable, reduces the onset of misc rattles and squeeks. The downside is, they enable you to now identify other weak items in the car that were originally lost in the body twist (crappy UCA and LCA bushings, sway bar concerns, shocks/struts, traction)

They make a big difference in the car. It feels alot stiffer but you also loose a little ride quality because of this. For any vert that you plan on putting more power into its a must. Even if you don't plan on upgrading much, its a good investment for preventing future leaky tops and other problems associated with convertibles.
The verts do come with crappy stock subframe connectors in place but they are not full length and for the price of good ones its worth it to upgrade. They get removed when the new ones go on. I used the Maximum motorsports full length powdercoated ones and then primed and painted the welds. It should cost around $100 $150 to get them installed. Another thing is make sure that whoever installs them on for you has done it before. There are a few horror stories out there about the installers catching the interior carpet on fire and ruined alot of the interior. You shouldn't need to remove the carpet. I didn't. The welder needs to alternate welding in different areas to keep the heat down.
