Question Scared Chitless!

OK, So the UPS guy delivered my MM CC plates today! Yay! . So lets crack the box open and see what we got!...... Oh HELL! theres a lot of chit in here! Lets get the instuction papers. I glance over the instalation intructions and realize this isnt as simple as I thought it would be. I thought it was like .... just drop the stut, put the lower plate on.... raise it back install top plate. Its a hellofa lot more than that!
So........ WHo can tell me how NOT to screw this up? I read the instructions through and the main part im worried about is drilling the new hole. Am I making it TOO complicated? Any advice on that would be great!
Also on alignment.. any alignment place should be able to line me up right? Any advice on where to set caster and camber. My car is a daily driver and NEVER sees the track. Somebody give me a run through please!

ask a mod to move this to the suspension section for you, r3dn3ck usually helps people in there and he knows alot about suspension stuff. Unfortunately I don't know much about suspension, i'm just trying to help you out by directing you to the right people..

Drilling a new hole isnt tough. Id tap it first just so you dont slip and put a huge gash in your paint under your hood. If you have a decent amount of mechanical ability and the tools, its a simple job... just a little time consuming if you are being careful. Id make sure you have an appointment for an alignment after you install them. Youll eat your tires away and the car is gonna pull to one side or the other, so dont drive the car until the alignment is done.

Ok going tomorrow to install the plates. Guess ima just have to wing it. After reading the instructions for about the 3rd or 4th time I think the hole is a small thing to deal with. Im worried about the spacers now LOL!

Well I took my car to my buddy's house to do the install. (I live in an apt. he lives in a house) Well.... he knows alot more bout cars than I do. He is the one that helped me with my spring install too. We made the job a LOT harder than it had to be by removing the callipers AND struts. I tryed to tell him "Hey if we just put a jack under the A arm and drop the sway bar nut we could lower the whole upper strut right outta the fender well. Flip it out do the work stick back in there and jack it back up....... BUT NOooooo he HAD to take the callipers AND the struts off. LOL Anyway, all and all the job wasnt THAT difficult, just time consuming.
