Well if you read my post about the guy that wanted to race me saturday night you know ive been waiting for it.

I was so ready, so nervous, and so excited that I was going to run an LT1 on a 125 shot. I headed to the local "Spot" around 9:30. The guys usually dont show up till at least 10:00 but I guess they were anxious. I spotted the Camaro as I drove by and gave it a good rev to let him know I was there. I turned around and pulled up next to him and his buddies. He was a prick the time before but he seemed pretty cool tonight. As soon as I pulled up he asked how I was and everything. He also told me that he was waiting on a WRX that wanted to race him. He asked If I wanted to "Run A Train On It" and I was like sure man. I knew he meant we were gonna both rape that little WRX. He didnt say anything about racing me but we both knew he had to run me before he left, or hed look like a bitc.

So I sat there and waited for about an hour before the damn WRX finally showed up. i had my bottle heater on the whole time I was waiting and I forgot about it. When I checked the pressure it was sittin on 1400psi!!! The camaro guiy asked me if I was ready to go and I was like "I gotta let my bottle cool down first". He waited like 5 minutes and asked me again if I was ready. I was thinking in my head "Whats this guys hurry?"

So I checked my pressure and It was already cool to about 1000psi. I was like "Perfect!" The guy in the WRX was pushing 16 pounds of boost with alot of bolt ons. But WRX's are slow no matter what they have in it.

So we finally left to go race. We headed to the best place to race and lined up. It was a 3 car race. Me...The WRX.....and the Camaro. When we got to the location I dropped it into second gear, ready for a 40 roll. For some reason these guys wouldnt slow down enough! They were trying to go from like a 55 roll or something! I didnt go for it because my RPM's were too high at a 55 roll. They both took off without a honk or anything. Inexperienced racers obviously. I didnt even give it any gas when they took off I just flashed my lights to let them know I wasnt running them.

They finally both slowed down to a proper 40 roll and I was ready. The bottle pressure was around 1000psi. The WRX started honking to my amazement. When I heard the 3rd honk I punched it. The car almost went sideways but I kept it going straight. It spun through 2nd gear but it hooked up in third. Since I had gotten a little squirrly, they were about a car or two ahead of me! Damn stock tires! Nevertheless It just left the WRX like it was nothing. About how a V8 mustang will beat a V6. I wasnt worried about that gay little WRX though. I wanted the LT1. He was on a 125 shot with good bottle pressure. After I passed by the WRX I started gaining on the LT1. He had left the WRX too as I thought he would. Since I didnt get traction in second it took me a second to catch up to him. The mustang pulled like it had a freakin blower on it and just passed by the LT1 at a decent pace. The LT1 did leave out of the hole faster than I did but my car ate it up on the top end. I thought it would be the other way around but no. He was pulling hard at lower RPM's but it just couldnt handle the stang up top. I pulled past him pretty good and I shut it down after I pulled about 3 cars. He didnt try to run me again. The WRX did though for some odd reason. The guy with the WRX was a bitc. He lined it up for a 40 roll and I honked. He left before I did and got about a 1 car jump on me. After the nitrous hit though it was over for him. It left the WRX like it was sitting still.

After we got back to the "Spot", They all crowded around my car. The Camaro guy didnt even say anything hardly. The WRX guy was like "Yea Id beat you if you werent spraying". I said "Oh well thats cool......". Then I just ignored him. There were about 3 or 4 cars that had been watching the whole race. One guy said "Yea when I saw the thing fishtail at a 40 roll I was like DAAMN!" I didnt think it would eat that camaro alive like it did. Maybe I have a "Factory Freak" or something. I had fun though. Noone got hurt, and we didnt get in trouble. I cant believe how much better this thing runs now....I cant wait to take it to the track. If I run 11's with this thing im gonna pee in my pants.......

My car pulls harder than what you think. Its faster than what its supposed to be cause it rapes another GT with similar mods and also a 100 shot. I guess I have to wait till the track opens though to find out :bash:

they'r fast and furious down in tennesee, remember his previous post? that means they get some road signs, block off roads, and make a lil outdoor club scene at the races. oh, and go jump bridges/trains.

oh wait. silly me. if they block off the streets like that then its safe.

Man Ive been street racing for a while now and we know how to keep a safe race. What do you think were out there trying to wreck our cars? No. We go to places like an interstate at 2:00 in the morning. There are absolutely no cars on the road sometimes for 5 minutes. We have one car about a 1/2 mile before the starting point watching for cars and one about a half mile past the usual finish line. They both have radios. When there arent any cars coming whe start a 40 roll and about 15- 20 seconds later the race is over and were headed home. If we got sideways the car will just slide into a grass median. There arent any guardrails. Come on dude thats pretty safe. If you say you cant even do that then what will you do? Are you a virgin? Are you a vegitarian? Just have fun and quit stressing out dude. OK I know you dont street race ok you mention it all the time dude. Mind you own business and dont worry about what im doing cause in the end this is just a freakin forum dude. Chill out......

what happens if ur goin to fast and u slide into the median, then start flipping into oncoming traffic? freak accidents happen. then youd owe someone a 10 second car!!!! that would suck. anyway, i havent gone to the streetraces in years, and have never raced out at the races... i go to the track. when have i talked about going streetracing???
