Miserable tight arsed ba$tards
What is it with people who, when they see a car for sale they continually drive prices of cars down on forums?
I`ve not noticed it on here or any other US forum really so it must be a UK thing. Ive had loads of cars and been on all the relevent forums and theres always the same miserable, tight holed bastards with comments like "Oh you won`t get that money" or "prices are falling mate, you`ll be lucky" or the old classic ........"I`ve seen them as low as $$$ you`re way too expensive".
Usually they drive the shittest budget variant of that model or a ******* shed. Bits held with duck tape and cheap *** tyres. you know, the "I cant afford to service my car, because of family commitments etc".
Personally I think you get what you pay for. A babied 17000 mile one owner garage car for $10000 or a 98000 mile, tired and ragged to death, decalled up `days of thunder` wannabe for $5000. Its a personal thing but if you can only afford a wreck then don`t ******* knock the guy with the nicer car.
I had a Type R Accord once which I paid a wee bit over the odds for. The guy that owned it from new was a ******* fruitcake and wouldn`t use it in the wet and it just got polished. I had that car for a year and it looked, drove and smelled like new. I sold it and got my money back. Some other fanny said "You paid waaaaaaaaaayyyy to much there mate". I got mine for x amount less. His 5 owner shitbox needed a gearbox rebuild and new suspension costing thousands. Still, the dumb bastard thought he got a better deal than me.
Sorry for the rant . Just some fudgepackers on the British Mustang owners club continually telling people how Stangs are worthless. Funnily enough one of the `great bargains he mentioned needed a gearbox AND ******* clutch.
Anyway peace. I`m having a whisky.

The saying "You get what you pay for" fits here. I don't think it is any persons place to comment on the price someone wants to charge for a car or anything else, unless they are serious about buying. I can put my car up for sale for ten times its worth, it may be the right price for someone who is throwing money around. Anything is only worth how much someone is willing to pay.

That happens all the time here. The problem is out of the entire population only a fraction really like cars and a fraction of that know what they are getting for their money.
If someone doesn't want mods, they don't add value. And most dont really give a damn how the paint or anything like that looks or realize what it takes to make it look nice.
Point, I was offered 1400 for my car in trade (granted it was a dealership) and I had someone that knows about cars offer me 5k for it for his son because he knows how **** I am about mine.
