why would anyboby waist money on a v6
#121
Maybe they're a complete "waist" of money to you, because mommy and daddy decided to spend the extra dough on your sorry *** and get you a GT....otherwise, you'd be driving a Neon, so don't play.
Us REAL grown folk that work for a living and take care of bills and kids and all that, even with good jobs, sometimes have to settle out for a V6 to save some money...when you grow up, come back and we'll talk, I'll explain it all to you.
I, on the other hand, can't stand snot-nosed brats who are infatuated with their V8 (size complex?) and have to let everyone else know how shitty a V6 is. Get a life kid, and stay in school, your spelling sucks goat *****.

it just seems to me that v6 muffstains are a complete waist of money. they should not be modified at all, unless its rally stripes with a rattle can. im tired of pulling up next to these posers and ask me if i want to race. come on seriosly so your v6er has exhaust on it well it still sounds like a fat lady farting in the shower. ford should have named it the Mustake. if you are going to own one use it for economy so you can save money to get a real mustang. give it to the wife so she thinks shes cool. the next time i get pulled over and asked to race again i might just blow thier car up to save them the trouble. happy holidays everyone

i also hate the chicks who get a mustang on its "color and looks", so they are driving GT's and don't know the difference between a V6& a V8. lol. plus they are stock GT's it's like wtf? look at my car, i'll trade you cause it's better looking lmao.

Mustangs are Mustangs man who gives a **** if it a 6er or V8. Most people dont even know the difference. Ill agree that I hate seeing kids with 6ers who dont even know what a V8 is and act all bad ***. But really, I'm 19, I had to get a 6er because my insurance would be too much, but at least I can say I own a damn Mustang. It still impresses the ladies. Now that Im making more money Im gonna get a GT or hopefully an svt Cobra. Anyways, youre a bitch, grow some nuts.

V-6 purchase
Take a look at your local gas station. A V-6 is still a real Mustang, but gets about 30 mph on the highway, and at leat 19-20 around town. Gas here is almost 4.35 a gal.Wish I was made of money.I would have bought a GT 500. Oh well just my 2 cents.

Until it breaks, or somebody makes a faster one tomorrow. : D Jesus, it seems like the 'fastest production' award changed hands every day. Yeah. This guy's point is barely valid. I would love to have a v8, but insurance is against me. I have a six, and put a hell of a lot of money into it. Why? Because I own a v6, I like to mod, and I have money right now to do it. When I own an eight I will still pour money into it. So go ahead and keep trying to say that all v6 stangs suck and that I'm a homo. But my stang looks DAMN good, and I like it a lot more than some people's sad little v8's.

yeah this is kinda old but whatever, still relavent.
1. A v6 is a v6, it is what it is. Which has more potential to go faster stock or modded? The v8 of course. In the end the V8 will be faster mod for mod with a v6.
2. This is not to say its worthless to mod a v6. If you mod your v6 you can romp on stock v8s all day and make bitches like the op cry like a bitch that he was beat by a v6.
3. If nothing else, its worth it to put all the money into the v6 JUST to hurt cocky V8 owners feeling. Guys like the OP.
4. I think most people, at least myself, mod v6s because its their first car they bought and its all they have to work with. Not all of us can qualify for 15k loan or higher or have that much saved up at once. So little by little we work with what we have. In the END yes we put enough $ to buy that V8 but depending on what mods you have done, that V8 is INFERIOR to the V6. And also we are back to qualifying for the loan or actually being able to save up the $. Also it would be no fun at all to sit back and not mod a mustang, afterall thats half the fun in owning one.
5. I hate to burst your bubles but ALL mustangs including the V8s are "pony" cars. They are not sport cars, or supercars, or even really muscle cars.
6. We still love V8s, and im pretty sure 99% of us V6 owners wished we did have one. And eventually maybe we will, but no need to hate on us for having one. And the satisfaction of CURB STOMPING YOUR FACE in when a supercharged V6 beats you is worth the time and $. So get off our collective nuts.
I myself will be converting into a eaton m112'd V6, you know the little blower that powers the 03/04 terminators. Yeah when im done with that, please by all means come show me how inferior my V6 is to your V8.

Wow. I tried to end this thread a year ago. Let it go. No one that is left here gives two ***** what size engine you have. No need to talk up your big plans of supercharging and how you're going to rule the streets someday.

Suppose someone has a problem a while back and posts about it. It never gets answered. Now, a year later, someone else has that same problem and bumps the thread up to the top. He would have to create a whole new thread if that rule were enforced.

No. What if it's a tech article or something...
