I know they have turbos, but you can turbo a mustang 6cyl. also. I was just trying to see if its just 6cyl. mustangs he hated or all 6cyls.

I saw a Mustang II Cobra with a 4 banger at a car show. It was like new! The car was soo dam silly looking that I began to like it...the silliness began to grow on me and then I wanted the dam thing. I think it was a 75 - 78.

i think it's ignorant to own a v6 and parade it around and try to act like you have a fast car when you don't.

if you own a v6 and you just drive it normal, hey it's all good...but i agree with the poster, dont step up to a v-8 and try to race if you ain't got nothin', tryin' to be all big and bad.

v6's are pretty much just for people who want the look and styling of the mustang without the V-8 price and gas mileage, can't afford a v-8, are too cheap, or just think it's gonna make them look cool.

but all in all, i think to each person a mustang means something different to them. some are just glad to own regardless of what engine, others (like me) it's their whole life, a passion, a hobby, a desire to make it the best they can, and turn it into what they want it to be, and others want to build them into hi-po race cars, and some people want a daily driver, others want a show car, and then the really dumb one's just buy the damn thing, keep it in a garage and drive it 2 or 3 miles a year (wtf is the fun in that?)

 

V6 mustangs are poser cars, I put them in the same category as riced out imports.


Also, the kid in here with the teal V6 supposedly making 385WHP and 400 something torque, sorry but you are lying because I also live in melbourne Florida and ive seen your *** get dragged by a FREAKING ALL MOTOR HONDA CIVIC HATCBACK, your turbo V6 isnt making more than 230 at the wheels, YES I WAS THERE THAT NIGHT YOU LIAR.

hey buddy i have a v6 and if im not mistaken it had 195hp stock and since ive done the CAI and exhuast im sure its up to 200hp and i only spent $600. Us v6ers can now take the turbos off cobras and even use kenne bell and whipple. so in other words i could spend less than 9k and have more than 200 hp. next time get your numbers straight. You must not be that good with math.

A Mustang is a Mustang! Besides, I have more respect for a V-6 owner who has a car that he can afford, especially when is owns a house, has kids etc.... over any GT owner who might be in debt up to his *** and live with his parents. Bottom line, you never know anyones situation. So, don't be an *** and judge someone by their car. There is always someone out there with a faster car and that does not make anyone better then anyone else.

let me just say this whole v6 + rice thing is bull

Rice is not a car (most of the time) its the driver!!!
I have seen someone in a nice cobra drive it like rice, reving up to anyone and everyone he sees.. Yeah you can get things that are ricier. but rice is a mentality!! not the car!! i know several riced out hondas and eagles that i would never think of racing because they would smoke my ***...

V6 stangs kick ***... and if i didn't find my gt when i did i would have looked for a nice 6er to buy!!

 

i dont think revving at someone at a stoplight is ricer...now if he's doing it at every stop light then ya he's a ricer, but if he pulls up alongside a nice camaro, or charger, then that's reasonable...typical guy wants to challenge an opponent.

 

yeah i will admit, i have tried to get cars that would smoke me to race just for the fun of it.. but if a mustang/camaro/corvette/charger/and nice american muscle car will rev, and when the light turns green floor it and speed off like a dumbass... thats rice right there. thats what i see alot. because kids in my hs. get nicer cars and treat them like ****...

 

LOL i know him and im the one who swapped in the newer 00 3.8 motor into his car. It made more rwhp then that when it had just the procharger, nows its alot higher with the twin turbos. I dont know how you can be such a jackass already.
