I'm pretty much in between bullitts and FR500's in 17" and deep dish in the back (gonna be running Nitto's 315/35/17).. what do you think would look best on my car? Just get the bullitts in the stock color or make a complete switch to black FR500's? I've been trying to decide this FOR MONTHS. I love the stock bullitts just need more lip, but I'm also liking how blakc FR500's look. Feel free to post pics

I think either of the black one's would look good.If you went with the Anthracite I would go ahead and get the 17x9's for the front, they look good with the lip too.I really think the chrome Bullit's or FR500's would look awesome too.The way you keep your car clean the chrome would really look good.

Anthracite Bullitts for the win! I know this sounds funny, but it seems like EVERYONE is switching from bullitts to FR's now. I love my bullitts.

It all depends on what you want people to notice first on your car: the wheels or the actual car. Whats the first thing you look at on a car with chrome rims - the chrome rims. I'm notta big fr500 fan and not a black wheel fan so I'd go bullitts in either chrome or anthracite. I had 20' chrome torq thrusts on my 03 silverado and everyone always complimented on only the wheels. Since I have gone the anthracite route on the stang (less showy than chrome) when I get a compliment, its always "nice car". So if that didn't make any sense, decide if you want showy (chrome) or subtle (anthr.) If it was my car I'd go anthracite, cuz if you are as picky about your car as I am, chrome sucks to keep perfectly clean.
Oh yea, get the 17x9's up front, you'll get sick of the wheels not perfectly matching after a while. Mine should be here monday! ![]() |

I had the same car as you and the anthricite imo looks WAY better on DSG than black. I just bought 17 X 10.5 anth bullits from MT and they looked awesome.
Thats the route I would go and its the cheapest. I had 245 up front and 315 out back.
