Everyone do you think body kits make stangs look to ricer like?

agreed, not that it cant look good (example SAI's black v6 with the Demon kit... which to me always looked like an inverted sleen kit, lol) but Black Widow and those types of kits, just say NO
Switching over to 'cobra' body parts is Extremely sexi, although we would get yelled at for 'misbadging' and such, lol

It's all a matter of what you like. I prefer to stay in the factory way, but that is only me. What does it matter? If you like it and other people think it's rice - so what. You are entitled to your own creativity. My car has an S351 Saleen body kit for the front and rear and a more low key side skirt. Simply because I like it that way.

Any body kit on a 6er is rice.

Any "over down" body kit on any stang is rice.

Any body kit that looks like a rousch, saleen, steeda, etc... is not rice as long as it is not over done.

Lots of opinions. Get what you like really. I love the styling of the Roush though myself, dead sexy IMO.

If you get a kit that is made for an Import and Mustang than its rice a roni. Stick with the kits made only for Stangs. I like the Cobra R front bumper or Steeda splitter with a Saleen s281 wing or Cobra on the rear, no side skirts just huge steam rolling tires on back. Keep it low and long.

Some people dont like my Rocker Panel Stripe... After all, its Bright White on my dark green/blue, so its 'flashy' and 'high profile' i kept the body looking good without the rice with the Chin Spoiler thing going on there... And of course i disagree with the idea of a 3.8 bodykit being 'rice', its 'rice' if its on ure 4.6 as well! the body style is the same, the idea is still the same...
Over on stangnet we have had many a discussion on what is classified as rice, although we honestly arent trying to change any ones opinion of when to use the word 'rice' I personally use it anytime there is anything on a car 'overblown', or even if i personally disagree with the piece added to car, and i dont classify any car that is stock as rice... So if i shove a Battle R Wing on my 6, its rice, and if u put it on your GT its rice.
I dont take anything personally, but in this case were talking about a car that looks identicle... lol Peace

To me, rice is anything import. I think how the word "rice" first came up was referring to the import cars as "rice burners". The way I see it is if you like the style, then put it on. If you want to split hairs about what's rice, then seriously look into where every single part on your factory mustang came from. You may be surprised if you do alittle research. Not saying that we're all hypocritical or anything.

I'm going to start carrying Black Widow II (with fog) kits and Saleen kits. Since I have no source for Saleen S281 wings, I will be selling the Black widow wings as an alternative. They are surprisingly similar if you look at both wings by the way.

Lambo doors are an import thing but I personally think they are cool looking, albeit kinda pricey with installation. I hear that they are a do-it-yourself mod but with something like that, I don't trust myself enough to do the install. When I have enough money together, I'm going for the lambo doors.
On a side note: Chris, how long do I have before the Demon Kit goes away? It was something I was planning on buying at the end of January. :sad6:

We are hoping to not sell anymore to be completely truthful. I ran out of inventory and was actively looking to discontinue it. Our price went up, and I haven't even bumped the retail yet to change that. Should be about 825 now I think. I'll get it for you whenever you want, but the price is worse now. Just PM me anytime down the line if you still want it.

I appreciate the response Chris. I guess just low demand for it huh? Well, I liked it at the original price but not $825. Looks sharp but....oh well. I'll just wait to see the new body kits you will be listing.

I offered to buy 25 Stalker kits to show serious commitment, but Cervini's is VERY tight on there no wholesale decision. They will not have one other vendor besides them selling to the public.
