My latest "chop"
Here is my most recent work. The second pic is the original and is pretty much how my car how it is now. The first is the chop and shows a few things I would like to do. Now I realize the rims would be somewhere around 19" lol but it looked cool. Tell me what ya think!

Granted, for performance purposes, you want a smaller rim to reduce the rolling weight, but everyone trashes large rims. frankly, done right, large rims do look good on mustangs. I have 20s on mine (of course the guy i bought it from put them on, not me) and I like them. I was never really fond of the large rims either until i got my car. You do sacrifice the opportunity to put meaty 315s on the rear since the 20s would only be 8.5 wide but I like them. I think the problem is when you go and lower a car and have huge rims, things start to look out of proportion or something. That is why I will going no more than an inch all the way around (even with the large rims, there is still significant wheel gap especially in the front).
Ride quality is not bad either. It actually drives quite smooth, at least to me.
Just wanted to say my piece and stand up for the guys with the larger than average rims.

I agree with that. The larger rims do looke awesome. There is a new GT Mustang close to where I live that is an electric blue color with silver stripes, and what looks to be 20 BC Smoothie II's. It looks great. 20's actually look good on Mustang. F body owners like myself just can't get away with that setup. 19's do look good on them however. This is not my car, but I like it.
