Default Rolling fenders?

Alright well my rear tires seem to be cutting into the fenders on the side of the tread, so I need to roll the fenders pretty soon. They probably only need a half inch or so of clearance so they don't need to be rolled extreme. Have any of you done this yourself? I looked at a lot of guides/threads for other cars and it seems much easier than it is for me, I'm using a 2" piece of pvc pipe and a heat gun, but putting downward pressure on the pipe merely makes the tire buckle and doesn't really push up on the fender enough to get it to bend. I'm not sure how these guys are doing it with plastic piping. I don't have a wooden baseball to use either. Waaah

Maybe you could find someone local that has an Eastwood Fender Roller that you could barrow or rent for cheap. Did you take out the rear isos recently?

Yeah I pulled the top ones, but I think it's the shocks causing it.

I saw a guy do it with a rubber mallet and a heat gun on youtube.

Harbor Freight and Tire Rack both carry fender rollers, although best choice would be to borrow one since they are pricey and pretty much only need it once. I'd try a rubber mallet like suggested. A guy over on SVTP rolled his and he said he got a couple of stress cracks in the paint so be prepared for that.

LOL. try to do it before you go back to paint just in case you get any chips or stress cracks in the paint.

tape off the area you're bending in a long single piece and use an exacto knife to carve a line down the length of the lip. You're parting the paint so you don't get stress cracks. When you've finished the roll, then use some touch up paint to seal it and enjoy. I've used joint-locks and a couple slugs to do it in the past... works but not the best. It's plum easy if you do the cut thing I mentioned and then every few inches use some tin snips to cut the lip and just bend up the little tabs that you're left with. Very hard to be precise with the snips and they can cause some bend lines but it works and it's sick easy to get them bent up. A cutoff wheel would work as well for that technique.
