Default Car Cover?

I have recently had to park my car to save alittle money on the insurance. I don't have a garage and I want to protect it. I just want to know if anyone has had a good carcover that they liked are recommend. Thanks

during my senior project graduation, i saved all my play money to bid on a car cover from advance, needless to say it only saves you from dust. rain soaks right thru. so dont go for advance auto covers.

I have one that was given too me, and I use it only if I know a big show or event is coming up and it does a really good job and keeps out most wetness, but a down pour of rain is gonna go through it unless you wrap the car with a tarp and then cover it.

Yeah that's what I do, use the car cover and then put a tarp over it. Well I haven't had to actually do that yet but I don't see how any rain what so ever could get through the tarp.

Have either of you tried the water repellant meant for tents. You can get a can for 10-15 dollars.

Damn white you beat me to it.

Water-resistant car covers can be treated with a waterproofer for around $10. Makes a world of difference on ones I've seen.

For my MG I have a Nylon one and it sucks if it ever gets water on it. Sticks to the car and is a bitch to get off. But the car hardly ever see's rain. So moral is don't use a Nylon car cover.
