Question More lighting questions..

OK.. Trying to find a bulb to replace my fog lights, just a standard halogen socket, but with a blueish tint (to come close to my HID's).. Was thinking about getting the "blue" luminics, but can't find hardly ANYTHING in an "886" blub.

Apparently the 886 is a 50w bulb and nobody makes it! lol

Luminics says "881 (27W) - 12V 27W - fit manufactory Part #: 889, 894, 886, 881, 896" the only thing that I'm worried about is that the 881 bulb is only a 27w and I don't want to sacrifice the brightness for the blue tint.

Do any of you guys have any experience with this? Do you think that the 13w of power would make any differance? Also, anyone ever used Luminics "pure blue" bulbs? I can only assume that they are a halogen that they actually aren't "pure blue" but more of a tint of blue/white.. Recommend anything else?

your headlights will be so much brighter you won't even know you have fog lights so I would just go with the lower wattage as long as the bulb is the correct fit. There's no difference in lighting if I have my fog lights on or off so I'm sure yours will be the same situation

Yeah, that's what I'm going for.. I just want to get the fogs close to the same temperature (color) as the headlights so that it doesn't look cheap..

you got your kit 6K right? It would be hard to say if you should get the Luminics Pure Blue or the Ultra White. I had the pure blue bulbs and it was fairly similar to the headlights except a little whiter so that might be your best route to go. Haven't seen the 6K in person so I can't say for sure
