Default Biggest Indash gps/DVD player to fit in 05+ dash?

I'm looking for the correct size screen that can fit in a dash of a 05+ stang. I see that the standerd factory radio is pretty big. And I am looking at this 7" screen for my dash. But I don't no I it will fit.

Any one no what size would fit?

car audio doesn't go by how big your screen is. It goes by single din and double din as to what fits in your vehicle. So if your vehicle is a single din console then a single din will fit if your cars a double din console then the double dins will fit (before any customizing). Most GPS/navigation systems are double din

yes it will fit the 01 and newer stangs have double dins and all aftermarket radios are gona be either single din or double din so yes the 7 inch screen is a double din and will work, just get ur wiring harness and i dont know if you are putting it in urself or what but if you plan on being able to play movies while you are driving you have to bypass the saftey mech, wich depending on what brand radio u are getting depends on what you have to do

they come so you can't watch DVD's unless the car is in park. You can bypass that on a lot of them by grounding one of the wires to the ebrake i think it is

I've been in some cars that can't enter info into their GPS system unless the car is in park also so that may be another thing that the bypass changes as well. Either way it's worth doing not like you need to buy anything extra

It use to be you ground the wire for the ebrake in with the ground wire in the harness but they may have made it more difficult by now... don't have one in the stang
